Kittys is kinda like a high end dinner/ low end steak house and its heart beats heavy towards Ireland plus it is also the best dinning value on the rock.For example you can get a handsome steak,a cool salad,a tasty soup,a refreshing beer all for $30,pretty good deal for Nantucket.The upstairs is very appealing and during the chilly winter nights they spark up the fire.The main dinning room is downstairs in the basement,strange I know but you really never notice as it is still very cozy and the decor makes you forget where you are at....
The food is simple/tasty/homestyle and they serve good size portions.Kitty's also have the freshes and best salad/soup/bread station on the rock and it comes free with all main courses....There is also a nice lunch menu and the service is quick so if you only get 1hr,no worries you get back to work on time.My only complain use to be that the menu never changed but lucky for me kitty's has recently gotten a new chef and the entire menu has changed.So if you were kinda bored with the old- 5yr- menu go in and check out the new one ,even the specials have gotten new life.( And it is still good)
So in other words I have never had a bad meal or have every heard anyone complain about thier meal here,,,,,,,,,,
so go now and eat at Kitty's,,,,,,,,,
trust me I'm Irish.......
