Smooth Sailing with Destination Affairs April 23, 2009
Reviewer: Sugarbear
We used Destination Affairs to organize our first ever trip to Europe; Italy in fact.
Kristin came up with very creative ideas; we rented an apartment in Rome instead of a hotel which was tremendous! We walked or cabbed anywhere we needed to go, we were right in the heart of Rome. We shopped at open air markets and she made sure we knew when not to hit the big attractions, like the Vatican. We only spent 20 minutes in line the afternoon we went, thanks to Kristin,
For our second week, she placed us in a beautiful villa overlooking a vineyard out the living room windows and an olive grove out the kitchen window. We were in Sienna and everyday travelled to a different city to explore the people, the food and the wine! Upon our return to our villa, we would go for a swim in the inground pool and sip some local wine as the sun set over the cypress trees, across the vineyard. We took her advice and used public transportation to get to Florence which was just magnificent and no hassle getting in or out.
Not enough space here to tell it all but Destination Affairs made our first trip to Europe unforgettable and we are already planning our next trip with her. This time we're bringing friends who are intriqued with the way we toured Italy, thanks to Destination Affairs.
